Overview
Encore Alert is a concert discovery and planning app operated by NimbleBeacon Labs. We use information only to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the app. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.
Information you provide
- Account information: your email address and authentication information when you create an account or sign in.
- Discovery preferences: the location, travel radius, genres, artists, venues, filters, and saved searches you choose.
- Concert planning information: watched events, alert settings, reminders, target prices, price history, ticket status, purchase details, checklists, day-of-show details, notes, and recently viewed events.
- Support communications: information you include when contacting us for help.
Information collected automatically
- Notification information: a push-notification token and device platform when you enable notifications.
- Service information: basic technical information needed to authenticate requests, sync data, deliver alerts, and diagnose failures.
Encore Alert does not currently request precise GPS location. The home location used for concert discovery is the location you enter or select in the app.
How we use information
We use information to:
- find concerts that match your location and music preferences;
- save and sync your preferences and concert plans across supported devices;
- monitor watched events and provide the alerts you request;
- register your device for push notifications;
- protect accounts, troubleshoot problems, and maintain the service; and
- respond to questions and support requests.
Services that process information
Encore Alert relies on service providers to operate. Supabase provides account authentication, cloud data storage, and server functions. Expo provides app and push notification services. Ticketmaster receives concert search details needed to return live event information. When you open a ticket or venue link, the destination provider processes that visit under its own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer where appropriate safeguards apply.
Storage and retention
Some preferences and concert-planning information are stored locally on your device. Supported information is stored in the cloud when you sign in. We retain account data while your account remains active and as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or meet legal obligations.
Your choices
- You can change discovery preferences, watched events, reminders, and alerts in the app.
- You can disable notification permission through your device settings.
- You can sign out to stop cloud syncing on that device.
- You can permanently delete your account and synced cloud data from the Account screen in Encore Alert.
- You can request privacy assistance by emailing encorealert@nimblebeaconlabs.com.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children
Encore Alert is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and delete it when appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published.
